The Technical Rules for Gas Installations (TRGI) require active and passive measures to prevent interference by unauthorised persons. Press connectors cannot be undone once they have been pressed, making press connections highly tamper-proof. Thanks to the Viega SC-Contur, any unpressed points will leak when a centralised leakage test is performed, making them clearly identifiable. This saves valuable time when carrying out complex test procedures during installation. All Viega Profipress G parts are clearly distinguishable to the eye. The yellow dot on the bead, yellow rectangle, yellow sealing elements and yellow product bags mean there is virtually no risk of confusion at the construction site.

The Profipress G HNBR sealing element has been specially tailored to the requirements of gas installations. It was developed to ensure durability and resistance to the gas medium it is intended to carry. The gas meter ball valves feature press connections and tamper protection, come with DVGW certifications and are available in versions for single and double-pipe gas meters. Gas meter ball valves with a gas flow monitor or thermal shut-off system (TSS) are optionally available. The gas sockets with TSS are ideal for appliances that are not tied to a specific location. These components ensure a safe and efficient gas supply but have also been designed with maintenance and control in mind. They enable a high degree of safety and convenience in all gas applications.
